Neighbors and friends we need your continued support.
On Monday, Nov. 27th the City Council Planning, Land Use and Zoning Committee will hold a public hearing regarding Interim Zoning Controls for the Aurora Licton Residential Urban Village. The Interim Zoning Controls, which restrict the development of certain land uses incompatible with the Aurora Licton Springs Neighborhood Plan goals and policies, were passed by the City Council on 10/2/17 by a 7-0 vote. However, the public hearing is required to determine whether or not to continue the Interim Zoning Controls.

Subject Line: Public Hearing on Council Bill 119093 – Aurora Licton Urban Village
Council Member Johnson:
I support Council Bill 119093.
This legislation is a much-needed step towards achieving the vision for the Aurora Licton Springs Residential Urban Village. It will allow for greater diversification of business types; specifically, it will afford greater opportunities for land to be developed for neighborhood serving goods and services as envisioned in the Aurora Licton Neighborhood Plan (adopted in 1999).
Thank you very much.
